Learning heals faster than time

Posted on Jul 2nd, 2009 by Shalini : Dreams have no impossibilities Shalini

When I created this blog, I thought it will be a display of my poems as I was trying my hands on poems those days. You could guess that by its name too.

But slowly as the things evolved it became a dream journal. It became a vent, a memory album to my dreams.

As I explored more I could trace certain patterns in my dreams, and found that they could be integrated. With the integration and interpretation I felt myself healing from the fear of unknown.

As it has passed nearly one year of practicing this I have learnt certain things – like how my brain switches and shifts from one dream to another, what causes it to switch etc.

I think it’s more or less like a self regression technique. Sometimes I feel that the things I saw in my dreams are not my fantasies or wishful thinking but the reality which I had lived. Sometimes I realize that my sixth sense is getting stronger as what it foretells me; I am getting efficient in interpreting it correctly. It’s really important that you receive the right message from your dreams/ sub conscious.

I guided myself through certain experiments – like sometimes I tried manipulating my dreams, other times I just let the things surface from my sub conscious no matter how weird they were.

For example I see myself in ancient India and medieval France; I see the different architectures and practices of different and better science. I believe that they may be the memories of my past life.

Well you may argue that It may be just your creative mind or the knowledge of your subconscious that you keep imagining yourself where you silently wished to be.

But I feel even just remembering your dreams bring you closer to yourself and that’s an achievement in itself.

Not much I know about self regression and others’ experience regarding regression, but as far as I know it’s evolving as a great way of healing the long routed fears and other symptoms. In regression People try to surface the route cause of fear while being hypnotized and guided by their psychiatrist.

I believe there is no need of a therapist to hypnotize you with a bauble or even to guide. One can guide him/her self. Hypnotism is nothing but a state of being highly focused, concentrated and in coherence with your subconscious. You are neither in control, nor should you try to control the surfacing thoughts. You must be receiving and interpreting the signals sent by your subconscious efficiently correctly and with least efforts, that means - use your instinct there.

There is a saying that “time heals all wounds”. I feel it’s correct but partially. Time actually heals only when you learn the lessons from the wounds. Forgetting is not learning. We must accept at least that “we are here to learn”.
